Scholar and Gypsy

I'm not exactly "hip" on this ole pattern because it quite frankly reminds me of some geometric/floral horror from the early 90's but the fit was great. It is a mid thigh length dress with a fitted waist and 3/4 sleeves. It also has little bunches of fabric coming off the waist giving me a little cape.(if i ever need) If worn with the right shoes and the right state of confidence nobody will even notices the almost "sketchy" print.

Lunar Sediment.

This is just an every-day outfit for an ordinary girl. It is no enormous fashionable feat but a simple example of expressing your mood or emotions through clothing, emitting your inner self onto your outer "seen" self. Jeans, grey loose blouse, knit head band with tangling Cherokee feather( A remnant of my grandmother's heritage)My younger sisters' extremely ironic old lady "cat handbag" (very hip) and my target super sale, rain-boy boots.( A species of boot between rain boots and cowboy boots) and the final stroke of simple genius, the African animal large necklace, the zebra and giraffe are close friends. Here you have it, the perfect attire for a blase Monday.

Sentimental Journey.

One giant nod to the forties. I kept the outfit simple with a black pleated skirt and and grey wool blouse. The kicker of this nostalgic ensemble is the accessories: A bold and nearly gaudy vintage navy and gold chunky necklace, Bright red lips(essential of the 1940's) polka dot hair bow/scarf, black knee socks, tan Mary-Jane's and Sun glasses. Throw those all together and your ready for the time machine, no one would question whether or not your a local native. It is gratifying to dress like a siren from the past, every once and again.
