“We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled."

Good Morning! This post is inspired by these vinyls which my BF(that always makes me want to say YO, so Yo!) got me to really start my collection which previously consisted of classical records my mum got at a garage sale. The music back then just speaks and moves on a totally different level than most modern bands(Although there really are some breathtaking musicians out there right now, excellent) Anyway the music reminded me of this dress I got a long while back. It's very sixties-esque and completely polyester(eww) I had to cut the hem up a bit because it was at that awkward mid calf length. I cut it just above the knee and put a belt around the waist to give it some definition. mmmm...the weather has been so very glorious as of recent. Makes me feel like dandelions and licorice to be eaten up in April! Cheers.

Big Two Hearted River.

AHH! A nearly catastrophic event happened while composing this post and that, my friends is why this post is very nearly crummy. When I was snapping these shots out back, I set the camera on a a window ledge in order to get a very panoramic shot of the ensemble. With a crash the camera dropped into the dirt like a silver diver. After the fall I tried my hardest to nurse the camera to back to health but sadly all the shots were completely fuzzy...grrr. I might have to get a new camera. Anyways, This outfit is pretty simple in pieces but bold in pattern and color. Its a very clean look. Vibrant red mini and black and white checked button up. Tuck it in for that polish. The whole look is really hinged upon the accompanying shades and clutch. The glasses are pretty reflective but I love the style and shape. The navy clutch is just the perfect vintage touch for an old soul on the go.
