Mexico City Blues.

On Monday night while sipping my tall Starbucks coffee and sinking into a suede comforting chair, I realized how much of an influence Jack Keroauc has had on some of Connor Oberst's ideas and images. They both have this pent up emotion, this way of pleading with soceity, truth and forces beyond their control. I felt inspired. The next I went thrifting with two of my favourite boys(Who very soon may just be featured on this blog) and got this floral dress, very sixties, very colorfull. The type of dress to bring the color to your eyes. It's got a simple shape and neckline emphasizing the pattern. I paired the dress with a thin orange woven belt that compliments the color scheme. I'm in the process of growing out my short hair. Making look good in this stage is challenging so I have been leaning heavily on hair bows, berets and bands for help. I used a silky pink woven hair band to compilment my untidy locks.
